* Founded in 1903 by Nicolae Cican, the Society Farsharotu is the oldest and largest Aromanian association in America. In 2021, the Society changed the spelling of its name from ‘Farsarotul’ to ‘Farsharotu’ to reflect its pronunciation in English.
