  William (Vasile) Bileca

  William (Vasile) Bileca, age 84, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 27, 2010.

  Born in Romania, son of the late Leon and Fanica Shunda Bileca, William was a Bridgeport resident for over 60 years. He was a longtime member of St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church and belonged to the Society Farsarotul.

  He is survived by his children, a son, William R. Bileca; and daughters, Melonie Doyle and Debbie Bileca; grandsons, Paul Doyle and William Bileca, a brother Dennis Bileca; a sister, Veta Babu; as well as several nieces and nephews.

  He was predeceased by his daughter, Brenda and brothers, John and Aurel (Earl).

  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 noon DIRECTLY at St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 504 Sport Hill Rd., Easton with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call at Church on Tuesday morning from 11a.m. until the time of services. Arrangements in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
