    Mary (Saro) Belba, 88, of 153 Eastern Ave. died Saturday in her home.

    Her husband, Lambi G. Belba, died in 1964.

    She leaves three sons, Christy Belba of Auburn, Theodore L. Belba of Worcester and V. Gerald Belba of Sterling; a daughter, Constance D. Vessio of Worcester; six grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.

    She was born in Voskopoja, Albania, daughter of Christaq and Sena S. Saro, and lived here 49 years.

    Mrs. Belba was a member of St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church and its Women’s Society.

    The funeral will be held tomorrow from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a service at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church, 14 Hammond St. The Rev. Nicholas Apostola will officiate. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.

    Calling hours at the funeral home are 6 to 9 tonight.

    A Trisagion service will be held there at 7 tonight.

    The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the Parish Fund of St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church, 14 Hammond St., Worcester, 01610.
