  Josephine T. Talabac

  SOUTHBRIDGE – Josephine T. (Metowski) Talabac, 78, of 128 Charlton St., died Monday evening in Harrington Memorial Hospital.

  She leaves a son, Richard V. Talabac; a daughter, Patricia Murphy, both of Southbridge; a brother, John Metowski of Hollywood, Fla.; two sisters, Jeanne Metowski and Isabel Hicks, both of Southbridge; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Joseph and Julia (Cuikaj) Metowski.

  Mrs. Talabac worked at the Providence House Nursing Home in Southbridge.

  Private funeral services will be Friday from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., with a Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Hedwig’s Church, Everett St. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
