Georgia Bicki
SOUTHBRIDGE – Georgia (Tersa) Bicki, 73, of 186 Everett St., died yesterday in University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after a short illness.
Her husband, Harold Bicki, died in 1984. She leaves two sons, Michael Bicki of Southbridge and Paul Bicki of Clinton, Conn.; two daughters, Barbara Madore of Bridgewater and Mary Dowling of Sturbridge; a brother, Dimitri V. Tersa of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Mary Drew of Westport, Conn., and Anna Casavant of Westminster; three grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Naum V. and Thiano (Veshia) Tersa, and lived here all her life.
She was a cantor and member of St. Michael’s Romanian Orthodox Church and a member of its Ladies Society and choir.
The funeral will be held Thursday from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., with services at 11 a.m. in St. Michael’s Romanian Church, Romanian Avenue. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Romanian Orthodox Church, P.O. Box 832, Southbridge 01550.
