Theresa Muzea
Theresa Muzea age 92 passed away peacefully on Thursday June 22, 2017 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
She was predeceased by her loving husband James P. Muzea who passed in 1994 and her two sons James Jr. and John Muzea in 1972.
Theresa Alice Muzea was born to the late Stanley and Annie Wysocki in Webster, MA, in 1924. She has one surviving sibling, her brother Joseph of MA.
She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Anthony and Francis and five sisters Dorothy, Irene, Florence, Mary and Frances.
After Marrying James, they had a restaurant called the YD Diner in Webster, MA. and T J’s Restaurant in Williamantic, CT. before moving to Bridgeport then Trumbull in the late 1950’s.
In 1995, after the death of her husband, she moved to Enfield, CT. Theresa took pride in entertaining guests in her home or coordinating events at others homes or venues. She was an active volunteer with Senior citizens in the 1970’s and 1980’s in the Trumbull area. She was a supporter of Vets her whole life. She will always be remembered by her many nieces and nephews and extended family as a creative, talented loving person whose greatest passion was helping others. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport have been entrusted with burial arrangements. A graveside burial prayer will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT. on Monday June 26, 2017 at 11am.
