Pandely Teja
Pandely Teja of Mendon Road, a retired employee of the former Branch River Wool Combing Co., died yesterday at the Landmark Medical Center-Fogarty Unit. He was the husband of the late Evanthia (Milla) Teja.
Born in Korce, Albania, a son of the late Spiru and Anghela (Coti) Teja, he lived in Woonsocket for many years before moving to North Smithfield three years ago.
Mr. Teja was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Belhumeur-Duhamel Post 62, American Legion. He was an honorary member of the Society Fasarotul. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, Woonsocket.
He leaves two daughters, Veronica and Valeria Teja, both of North Smithfield.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. from the Egidio DiPardo and Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, with a service at noon at St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, East School Street. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
