    Michael H. Bicki, 55, of 186 Everett St., died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Harold V. and Georgia (Tersa) Bicki.

    He is survived by his brother, Paul J. Bicki and his
    wife Sylvia of Clinton, CT; two sisters, Barbara B. Madore and her husband Kenneth of Bridgewater and Mary B.
    Dowling and her husband Thomas of Sturbridge; five nephews; one niece and numerous other relatives and
    friends. He was the brother of the late Patricia Bicki.

    Michael was a 1969 graduate of Southbridge High School. He later attended Dean Junior College and earned an
    Associates Degree from Worcester State College. Michael was fluent in three languages, including English,
    Romanian and Spanish.

    He was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time at the local library and within his
    community, which was so good to him. In addition to reading, Michael enjoyed music and gardening.

    He was a life
    long member of St. Michaels Roumanian Orthodox Church where he served as a cantor and choir member for
    many years.

    Michael will be remembered for his positive attitude towards life and his strong faith in God.
    Michaels funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St.,
    Southbridge, with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michaels Roumanian Orthodox Church, Roumanian Ave.,
    Southbridge. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge.

    Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Friday,
    Nov. 17th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
    In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Michaels Roumanian Orthodox Church, P.O. Box
    823, Southbridge, MA 01550 or to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 400 West Cummings Park, Suite
    6650, Woburn, MA 01801.

    Man’s death deemed natural cause

    SOUTHBRIDGE – Michael Bicki, 55, of 186 Everett St., died of a natural cause, Detective Sgt. Shane Woodson said yesterday.

    A man walking his dog Sunday morning found Mr. Bicki slumped on a lawn at Elm and Caron streets, a short distance from Mr. Bicki’s house.

    The medical examiner had not determined the cause of death as of yesterday, Detective Woodson said.
