Charles T. Belba
Charles T. Belba, 68, of 40 Belmont St. died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves a brother, Theodore Belba of Korce, Albania; three nephews, and a niece. He was born in Woonsocket, R.I., son of Thomas and Maria (Soter) Belba, and lived here many years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European- African-Middle Eastern theater.
Mr. Belba was a distributor for 20 years for Wachusett Potato Chip Distributor in Auburn, retiring in 1983.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave. Elder Roger Tuttle will officiate. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
