Angelina Stillu Muzea
Angelina Stillu Muzea, age 102, of Trumbull, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at St. Vincent Medical Center.
Born in Albania, on June 4, 1902, she was a daughter of the late Krista and Sofia Rigia Stillu. Angelina worked in the cafeteria at the University of Bridgeport before her retirement to Pompano Beach, Fla., where she resided for the last 35 years.
She was proud to have appeared on NBC with Willard Scott on the occasion of her 101st birthday. She had a very strong will, a love of life and family, and will be sadly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pandely Muzea, a son, James Muzea and a daughter-in-law, Stella Muzea. Survivors include three sons, Thomas P. Muzea of Trumbull, George Muzea and his wife, Maria of Reno, Nev., and Foster Muzea and his wife, Peggy, of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sisters, Aspacia Chiacu of Bridgeport, and Marica Shunda of New Jersey; one daughter-in-law, Terry Muzea of Enfield; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 24, 2004 at 10 a.m. in St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 539 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport. Private interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Thursday (Today) from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
