Andrew G. Babiana
Andrew G. Babiana, 92, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Rachel (Vanovertveldt) Babiana. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Andry) Babiana.
After Andrew’s United States Navy Seabees military service in WWII , he established RI Paint Company and Creative Crafts Distributor in Woonsocket, RI at which he worked until his retirement.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Andrea Babiana and Jason Babiana (his wife Lotus), and his loving granddaughter, Lillia. Andrew is also survived by his siblings Victoria Chiacu, Florence (husband Peter) Costulas and Stella Babiana and predeceased by Sylvia Fatse, Virginia Baker and James Babiana.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Funeral Service at 10AM in Saint John The Baptist Orthodox Church, 501 East School Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Thursday, from 4-7PM in the O’Neill Funeral Home.
