Catherine Thanassi Semo
SEMO Catherine Thanassi Semo, age 85, of Bridgeport, wife of the late William Semo, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 13, 2009.
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO., Mrs. Semo was a Bridgeport resident for over 60 years.
She had worked for Peoples Bank until her retirement.
Catherine was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed the times that she spent with her friends at 2400 North Ave.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Semo of Bridgeport, and John Semo of Colorado; brothers, Angie and John Thanassi; a sister, Florence Bacon; a grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 504 Sport Hill Rd., Easton. Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. There will be no prior calling hours. Arrangements in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Dimitrie Church.
