Obituary of Ellen Andry
Devoted member of St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church
Ellen (Len) Andry, age 77, of Fairfield, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 20, 2004. She was the beloved wife of Theodore Andry for 53 years.
She was born in Blackstone, Mass., the daughter of the late Michael and Jenny Costulas.
She worked at the General Electric Corporation and also the Dictaphone Corporation. She was an ardent member of the St. Dimitrie Retirees. Many of the members marveled at her creative talent, which was an asset to the organization.
Ellen leaves her loving family, a son David and his wife Jacquelyn of Ridgefield, Ct., and a daughter Cyndee Sorrentino and her husband George of Stratford, Ct. She also leaves four adoring grandchildren, Vanessa Sorrentino, Nicole, Christian and Cameron Andry. She is also survived by a sister, Despa and her husband, Nicholas Cipu of Fairfield, Ct., and a brother, Peter and his wife Florence Costulas also of Fairfield, Ct., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 11 AM in St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 579 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport. Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Trisagion services at 7 p.m.
