Dear Editor,
Reading George Moran’s article in the February 1992 Newsletter, “Touring the Vlach Villages of Greece,” brought me back to my family’s 1984 visit to some of the villages mentioned in the article, namely Florina, Volos, and Almyros. We also visited Katerini, Salonica, and Vatohori (formerly Breznitsa), which was the village of my grandfather, Dimitri Shery.
Thank you, George, for taking the time to document your travels through our ancestors’ homelands. I share your nostalgia.

Dear Editor,
Congratulations and a sincere thank you to George Moran for his article in the February issue of the Newsletter. I thoroughly enjoyed his most informative and descriptive tour of the Vlach villages he visited in Greece. That issue was folded and placed between the pages of Nomads of the Balkans.
